Unfollow for TikTok ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that automates actions on your own TikTok account — unfollowing, liking videos and posting comments that you write yourself — at a human pace, inside your own browser.

Information We Collect

The Extension collects and stores the following data locally on your device:

• Your TikTok user ID (numeric, read from the tiktok.com page you are logged into) — used to track your daily action counts and your plan.
• A randomly generated device identifier — used to associate your trial/subscription status with your device.
• Action counts (unfollows, likes and comments performed today and in total) — stored locally in Chrome storage.
• Your comment texts, the hashtags you choose and your protected-accounts list — stored locally in Chrome storage only. A comment text leaves your browser only when the Extension posts it to TikTok from your own account, as you asked it to.

We do not collect your TikTok password, personal messages, email address, or any personally identifiable information without your explicit consent.

Data Sent to Our Servers

Your TikTok user ID and device identifier are sent to our backend server (hosted on Cloudflare Workers) solely to:

• Enforce the free plan's daily limits (7 actions per mode per day).
• Verify your PRO subscription status.

This data is stored securely in Cloudflare KV and is never sold or shared with third parties.

Subscription & Payments

Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe or Creem — see the checkout page). We receive your email address upon purchase to link your subscription. We do not store your payment card details.

Permissions Used

• storage — to save your settings and action counts locally.
• activeTab — to detect the TikTok page you are on.
• sidePanel — to show the Extension in Chrome's side panel.
• scripting — to run the extension's own scripts on tiktok.com pages.
• host_permissions (tiktok.com) — to perform automated actions on TikTok pages.

Data Retention

Local data is stored until you uninstall the Extension or clear Chrome storage. Server-side data (trial/subscription status) is retained for the duration of your subscription and up to 90 days after cancellation.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your server-side data at any time by contacting us. Local data can be cleared via Chrome's extension storage settings.
